Auralis was founded by Chef Mike McKenzie and Andreas Düss, two friends with a passion for food and flavor. Andreas, motivated by the need for a healthier alternative to alcohol, began experimenting with botanical extracts in his kitchen, while Chef Mike explored the benefits of functional mushrooms for mental and physical health. Together, they spent two years developing a range of sugar-free, sweetener-free drinks infused with chaga, lion’s mane, and reishi mushrooms, all inspired by Canada’s boreal forests. Their efforts led to the creation of Auralis Botanical SuperTonics.

In July 2024, Tiam Mohmedi, owner of Saiko Mushrooms, a prominent gourmet and functional mushroom farm, acquired Auralis as part of his strategic expansion in the industry. With a deep passion for mushroom cultivation, coupled with extensive experience and ambition, Tiam is committed to working closely with the Auralis team to drive innovation and elevate the company's operations to new heights. His vision is to further enhance the company's reputation and capabilities in the growing gourmet and functional mushroom sector.
