Chaga | The Super Mushroom Behind Our Signature Drink

Chaga The Super Mushroom

What Is Chaga?

At first glance, Chaga may not look like much—just a charred clump growing on a birch tree. But inside this wild mushroom lies a treasure trove of antioxidants, immune-supporting compounds, and centuries of traditional use.

Often called the “King of Medicinal Mushrooms,” Chaga has been used for centuries in Siberian and Indigenous wellness practices. At Auralis Botanicals, we’ve carefully crafted our drinks around this powerful ingredient—bridging traditional wisdom with modern wellness.

Where Does Chaga Come From?

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a fungus that grows primarily on birch trees in cold climates, like those found in Canada, Russia, and parts of Northern Europe. It absorbs nutrients from the tree over many years, concentrating powerful compounds like:

  • Beta-glucans: known for immune support

  • Polyphenols & Melanin: strong antioxidants

  • Triterpenoids: anti-inflammatory compounds

Why We Use Chaga at Auralis

Not all Chaga is created equal. We only source wild-harvested Chaga sustainably, ensuring both potency and environmental responsibility. Our extraction process preserves its natural benefits while creating a clean, refreshing taste—no bitterness, no added sugars.
